Negative skewness

It is exactly opposite to the positive skewness in the fact that the left tail of the curve is significantly larger and broader than the right tail of the curve. 

The coefficient for negative skewness is always negative. 

Symmetrical skewness

This is a perfect type of symmetric distribution as the values of mean, median, and mode are exactly aligned on top of each other and forms a normal to the curve. 

Here the values of mean, median, and the mode are exactly equal. The right part of the curve is exactly equal in area to the left part of the curve. 

Here the coefficient of skewness is always zero.
